Callie (the black goat to the left) was rescued 9 years ago - she was 4 months pregnant - she was headed to slaughter -her and her unborn baby".. One month after being rescued she gave birth to a beautiful black and white colored pygmy baby" they have been the best of friends for 9 full years. Were uncertain how old Callie was when we saved her. But she was the sweetest little friendly girl ever and will be missed. She is buried here along side her friend "Samatha" who passed a few months prior as well as a baby deer named Buddy who passed a few weeks prior". Callie will be greatly missed by all of us here at the resuce and especially by her baby girl Sallie.
