Remi is one resilient little pony. He was abused and lacked trust in people when he came to the Rescue in 2019. Shortly after arriving here, he was diagnosed with Uveitis in both eyes. In January 2021, Remi had an ulcer that kept getting infected, ultimately resulting in his eye being removed. Our little one-eyed pony adapted well until around July 2022, when he only had about 5% vision in his remaining eye. Remi, who is now completely blind, has adapted well. He has learned to be more trusting of people and gets around his paddock well. He enjoys taking a late morning nap and running in the fields with his friends.
